Mark Andrew Ayala

Mark Andrew Ayala, age 36, passed away on July 26, 2022. Mark was born March 19, 1986 to Mr. and Mrs. Juan and Juana “Tina” Ayala. He graduated from Richard King High School in 2004. Mark was employed by West End Motor Company, a family business for 20 years. Mark enjoyed BBQing, working on cars, fishing with his mom and the Salinas Family and listening to music with his dad after a day’s work. He will always be remembered for his good heartedness, his joking, talent to fix vehicles, his dedication to his nieces, and his friendliness to ask anyone how’s it going or offer his hand in help. Mark was a loving son, brother, nephew, cousin and exceptional Uncle.
Mark is preceded in death by his paternal grandparent, Bernardo and Hilda R. Ayala; maternal grandparents, Santos B. and Ignacia R. Serna; paternal great grandparent, Juan Dedios Rodriguez and Josepha Rodriguez; paternal uncles, Bernardo J. Ayala, Juan D. Rodriguez, Ramiro R. Rodriguez, Gustavo A. Rodriguez; paternal aunts, Delia Rodriguez, Bebe Rodriguez, Raquel N. Gonzalez; maternal uncles, Jose Serna, Martin Serna, Julian R. Serna, Jay Serna; maternal aunts, Mary Salinas, Petra “Nina” Serna, and Florencia Serna.
Mark is survived by his father, Juan Dedios Ayala; mother, Juana “Tina” Ayala; siblings, Christie Victoria Ayala (Juan Garza) and Juan “John” Dedios Ayala, II; nieces, Nina-Kaylin Louisa Campos, Savanna J. Campos and Juliann E. Garza; paternal uncle, Samuel J. Rodriguez; paternal aunt, Celinda (Feliberto) Garza; maternal aunts, Sylvia (Hilario) Villarreal, Lydia (Manuel) Elizondo and maternal uncle, Louis R. (Lydia) Serna.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM, Wednesday, August 10, 2022 at Corpus Christi Funeral Home with a rosary to be held at 7:00 PM that same evening. Funeral mass will be celebrated at 10:00 AM, Thursday, August 11, 2022 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Rose Hill Memorial Park. Having the distinguished honor to serve as pallbearers are Juan Garza, Armando Andres Hinojosa, Michael R. Serna, Daniel Salinas, Steven Salinas and Jermey Ford. Honorary pallbearer is Juan “John” Dedios Ayala, II.
