Marjorie Villegas, age 68, was called home to our Lord on Friday, September 11, 2020. She was born on February 25, 1952 to William Joseph Edward Woodward and Edna Owen Woodward. She graduated from Woolston High School in Warrington, England in 1967. Marjorie was self-employed, owning her business, Pipe Creations which consisted of manufacturing PVC pipe patio furniture including marine re-upholstering. Her hobbies were traveling to England to visit her grandchildren, family and friends. Also traveling to Las Vegas and Louisiana. She also enjoyed gardening and relaxing at home, especially enjoying her pool. Marjorie will always be remembered for her love of laughter, sense of adventure, devotion to family and impeccable work ethic. She’ll also be remembered and known as the crazy English woman who was loyal to her Cowboys. Lady Luck was on her side on all her Vegas trips and her football ventures. Marjorie was the greatest hostess and entertainer for her family and friends. She made sure holidays, birthdays and any event were always special. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and aunt.
Marjorie was preceded in death by her daughter, Michelle Goodier, her parents, William and Edna Woodward, her brother, Terrance Woodward, her sisters, Jean Wood and Linda Eden.
Marjorie is survived by her husband, Edward Villegas, her stepdaughter, Christina McDonald (Raymond), stepson, Mario Villegas (Shannon), her grandchildren; Sarah Goodier (Lee), James Goodier, Graham Goodier (Pamela), Thomas Goodier, her step-grandchildren; Gabriel, Michael and Raphael, her great grandchildren; Mia Anita, Jaxon, John Paul, Tulicia, Ella Jayne, her sister, Christine Sheldon and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M., Thursday, September 24, 2020 at Corpus Christi Funeral Home with a Prayer Service to be held at 7:00 P.M. A funeral service will be held at 11:30 A.M., Friday, September 25, 2020 at Corpus Christi Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Seaside Memorial Park.
Having the distinguished honor of serving as pallbearers are John Suarez, Javier Garcia, Robert Villegas, Gavin Villegas, Victor Salinas and Jeff Wilson.
