August 9th, 1981 - November 15, 2020

It is with complete sadness to let everyone know that our beautiful Marivel Monge-Arispe has gained her wings. She passed peacefully in her sleep on November 15, 2020. Mari was accompanied by her family at the time of her death. Mari was born on August 09, 1981. She was an amazing wife, mother, sister and friend. Her husband and her daughters were her world. She was of Christian faith and believed in God wholeheartedly. She absolutely loved going to church and doing worship. She could worship just about anywhere she was. Mari loved to bake, travel and make things with her girls. Mari was always willing to help anyone with no hesitation. Wherever she went her light shined bright. She meant so much to so many people. She will be missed beyond belief to all those who know and loved her.

Marivel Arispe Monge is survived by her husband Nakia Monge, daughters Madeline & Navelle Monge, Parents Roberto & Esmeralda Arispe, brothers Adrian Mendez & Ray Rivera, sister, Leticia Arispe (Daniel Flores), Nephew Emmanuel Rivera and Nova Flores.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 19, 2020 at Solid Rock Church on Ayers, with a prayer service at 7:00 p.m. that same evening. A Funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, November 20, 2020 at Solid Rock Church on Ayers. Interment to follow at Rose Hill Memorial Park.

The Monge Arispe family would love to thank all who have helped and supported them through this difficult time. Mari didn’t want anyone to wear black at her funeral. She wanted joy and happiness around her. For we celebrate her beautiful life and the love we have for her. Thank you all.
