Maria Victoria “Vicky” Soliz, age 82, passed away on Wednesday, January 09, 2019 in Corpus Christi, Texas after a short battle with cancer.
Maria was born on August 17, 1936 in Benavides, Texas to Luis Garza Sr. and Tomasita Heras. She is preceded in death by her parents, brother, Luis Garza Jr., son, A.J. Soliz and her husband Anibal Soliz.
She is survived by her children, Anna Soliz, Melba (Atilano) Salas; 3 grandchildren, Emily Soliz, Andrew Soliz, James Soliz; 2 sisters, Barbara (Raymundo) Ramos and Minnie Casas.
Visitation will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 12, 2019 at Corpus Christi Funeral Home with a Rosary to be recited at 6:00 p.m.
