Angie Rendon, age 68, passed away March 12, 2018. Angie was born on June 17, 1949 to Antonio and Alejandra Ortegon. She graduated from Martin High School in Laredo, Texas.
Angie is preceded in death by her parents and brother, Andres Ortegon.
Angie is survived by her son, Robert "Bobby" (Melissa) Rendon, grandchildren, Robert (Kayla) Rendon, Zackary (Madi) Rendon, great-grandchild, Robert "Tre" Rendon, III, siblings, Antonio, Rey, Arturo, Alejandro, Anna and Antonia.
Angie was a dedicated public servant with The Nueces County Sheriff's Office, where she retired, after 24 years, as a Detective in 2005. She continued her service as an investigator for the State of Texas, working with the CPS unit in Robstown, Texas. Her greatest love was her son, her grandchildren and great grandson. As an active member of Most Precious Blood Catholic Church, beloved Founding Member and Board Member of Society of the Body of Christ, she often volunteered her time visiting and praying for others.
The many memories that will live on from her close circle of friends are the great adventures and their companionship over taquitos and coffee, with Rosa, Alicia, Mary Jane, Miss D., Ann and many more.
On behalf of Bobby Rendon and family we would like to thank you for all the prayers and support. God Bless.
