Maria D. Torres

Maria Del Socorro Torres, age 59, passed away June 15, 2020. She was born on January 3, 1961 in Piedras Negras, Coahulia, Mexico to Tomas Cardenas and Maria Del Socorro Orozco.
She will always be remembered for her big heart, love of Jesus, giving nature, forgiveness of others and being family oriented. She also had a great sense of humor and a beautiful soul.

Maria is survived by her parents; Tomas Cardenas and Maria Del Socorro Cardenas, her husband, Vicente Torres, daughter, Stephanie Heracleous, her siblings, Tomas Cardenas Jr., Juana Cardenas, Mariaelena Drennon, Lupe Tobias, Alicia Fernandez, Jesus Cardenas, Rosalinda DeLeon and Javier Cardenas.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 17, 2020 at Corpus Christi Funeral Home, a Rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. that same evening. A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 18, 2020 at Corpus Christi Funeral Home. Interment to follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Having the distinguished honor to serve, as pallbearers are Leroy, Humberto, Jorge, Javier, Juan Jimenez and Juan Torres Jr.
