Margarita G. Porter

Margarita G. Porter, age 89, passed away July 18, 2021. Maggie was born October 15, 1931 to Mr. and Mrs. Antonio Guerra. She enjoyed volunteering for under privileged children, taking care of her family, especially her great grandsons and traveling with friends. She will always be remembered for her service to the community and her outgoing personality. Maggie was a loving mother, grandmother, Nana and aunt.

Maggie is preceded in death by her parents, Antonio Guerra and Eloisa Cano Guerra, two sons, Jesse Gonzales and Roberto Zuniga and her beloved husband, John B. Porter, Jr.

Maggie is survived by her four stepchildren; Janet Gick (Robert), Julie Sanford (William), Denise Carter (Gary) and Johnny Porter, III, grandchildren; Amber Mondragon (Matthew), Jessica Flores (Anthony), Rey Zuniga and Ross Zuniga, two great grandchildren; Xavier Mondragon and Thomas Mondragon, nephew, Rueben Reyes (Mary Ann), great nieces; Ruby Ann, Belinda, Ellissa and Veronica.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
