Obituary

Margarita Lopez Moya, age 82, passed away on February 18, 2021. Margarita was born on August 26, 1938 to Felipe Lopez and Leonora Casarez. She was a Mathis high school graduate, she loved to dance every chance she got. Margarita was a loving mother, sister, aunt, cousin, grandmother, great grandmother and friend. She will always be remembered for her loving spirit, kind heart, and for always being happy. Margarita will be missed dearly by all who had the honor of knowing her.
Margarita is preceded in death by her husband, Nicasio Moya, daughters; Sanjaunita Lozano Moya, Guadalupe Martina Morales Moya, brother’s, Pimeño Lopez, Ruben Lopez, sisters, Juanita Brown, Margarita Flores , Angelita Cortez, and Ofelia Lopez.
Margarita is survived by her children, Nicasio Moya Jr, Ariaco Moya, Felix Moya, Margarita Puentes, Graciela Moya Sosa, and Frances Moya, brothers, Antonio Lopez, David Lopez, thirty one grandkids, numerous nieces, nephews and great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 28, 2021 from 1pm to 9pm at Corpus Christi Funeral Home with a prayer service to be held at 7pm that same evening. A funeral service will be held at 10 am on Monday, March 1, 2021 at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Seaside Memorial Park.
Pallbearers will be Rudy Moya, Brian Moya, Andres Sosa, Rene Duentes, Robert Puentes, Domingo Moya, Guadalupe Suarez and Benny Carranza.
