Margarita D. Luna

Margarita D. Luna, age 94, passed away March 9, 2023. She was born on January 2, 1929 to Genaro and Paula Diaz.

Margarita was the owner of Luna’s Lounge for over 30 years. She enjoyed her quality time with her family, crafting, traveling and sitting on her front porch drinking her morning coffee. Margarita will always be remembered for her selfless heart, humor, endless jokes, strong personality and her devotion to her family. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great great grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin and friend.

Margarita is preceded in death by her parents, late husband, Pedro Luna Sr., sons Andres Martinez Jr. (Andy), Richard D. Luna (Ricky) and Pedro D. Luna Jr. (Pete)

Margarita is survived by her children, Irene “Chata” Luna Lopez (Javier), Sylvia Luna Macias (Martin), Ruben Luna (Cindy), Michelle Luna (Brian), numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 5:00pm to 9:00pm on Tuesday, March 14, 2023 at Corpus Christi Funeral Home Chapel with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00pm that same evening. A Funeral Service will be held at Corpus Christi Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday, March 15, 2023 at 12:00 noon. Interment to follow at Rose Hill Memorial Park.

Having the distinguished honor to serve as pallbearers are, Ruben Luna, Javier Lopez, Brian Sai, Martin Macias Sr., Martin Macias Jr., Marcos Macias, Adam Martinez, and Ramsey Luna.

Honorary pallbearers are, Cameron Johnson, Ruben Luna Jr., Kingston Sai and Randy Luna.
