Manuela H. Rodriguez

Manuela H. Rodriguez, age 97, went home to be with our Lord Jesus Christ on June 21, 2020. She was born on June 25, 1922, in Kenedy, Texas, to Julia Cabrera. Manuela was a wonderful homemaker and housewife for many years. She enjoyed sewing, cooking and gardening. She also was a loving and caring wife, mother and grandmother.
Manuela is preceded in death by her mother, her husband, Elizardo Garcia Rodriguez and her 2 brothers, Gilbert and Ermilio Postel.
Her daughters, Patricia Garza (John R. Sr.), Leticia R. Ruiz (Jesse V.) are left behind to cherish her memories along with her five grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren, brother, Emilio Postel (Frances).
Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 23, 2020 at Reid Chapel in Seaside Memorial Park. A Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. that same evening. A Funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 24, 2020 at Reid Chapel. Interment to follow at Rose Hill Memorial Park.
