Luciano H. Garcia

Luciano H. Garcia, age 87, passed away on Sunday, August 5, 2018 in Corpus Christi, Texas.
Luciano was born on January 7, 1931 at La Copita Ranch, Texas to Vicente and Marcelina Herrera. He was an auto body repairman by trade but worked for Wights Auto, Gainans Chevrolet, City of Corpus Christi Park and Rec., and Bar-Bob Motor Homes. Luciano also enjoyed fishing with his wife. He is preceded in death by his parents, brother Manuel, two sisters, Dolores and Nina.
He is survived by his wife, Maria R. Garcia; his children, Jose Luis Garcia (Jill De Leon), Maria Anita Soliz (Richard), Jesus R. Garcia (Suwanmalee), Teresita Garcia, Luciano Garcia (Yulonda); 17 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren; sisters, Gloria Alonzo, Guadalupe Garcia; brother, Gerardo Garcia (Socorro); numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 8, 2018 at Corpus Christi Funeral Home with a Rosary to be recited at 7 pm that same evening.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 9, 2018 at Holy Family Catholic Church.
Interment to follow at Rose Hill Memorial Park.
Pallbearers will be: Steven Rubio, Robert Gomez, Johnathan Soliz, Christopher Rushing, Daniel Rushing, Simon Olvero and Vicente Garcia.
