Lucia Flores Ferdin, age 73, passed away on Monday May 31, 2021. Lucy was born on July 20, 1947 to Abel and Antonia Flores. She graduated from Bruni high school in 1967. Lucy was a retired nurse, she enjoyed tending to her garden and most important being around her family. She was always ready to travel and would help others without hesitation. Lucy was a strong woman of faith. She will always be remembered for her sassiness, love of laughter, and sense of adventure. Lucy was a loving sister, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She will be missed dearly by all who knew her.
Lucy is preceded in death by her father Abel Flores, mother Antonia Flores, brothers, Isais Flores and Tenorio Flores.
Lucy is survived by her children; Janie, Jesse (Diana) and Eddie, grandchildren; Joel Perez III (Rose), Jazmin Ferdin, Arianna Perez (Oscar), Aleeah Perez and Jesus Ferdin III, great grandchildren; Evalise Ramirez, Jacob Perez and Jericho Ramirez, siblings; Abel (Nelda), Irma, Alex (Zoila), Eloisa, Estela, Ezequiel (Tommie), Raul, Ruben (Celia) and Irene, nieces and nephews; Abel III, Patsy, Monica, Earl, Lisa, Roland, Sandra, Belinda, Zeke Jr., Jon, Michelle, Eleazar, Roman, Ruben Jr., Hannah, Joshua, Leah, David, Alex, Lucinda and Noe.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM, Thursday, June 3, 2021 at Seaside Reid Mausoleum Chapel with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 PM that same evening. A funeral service will be held at 11:30 AM, Friday, June 4, 2021 at Seaside Reid Mausoleum Chapel. Interment will follow at Rose Hill Memorial Park.
Having the distinguished honor to serve as pallbearers are Joel Perez III, Jesse Ferdin III, Willie Valero, Ruben Flores Jr., Oscar Ramirez and Gabriel Grande.
