Lloyd D. Canosa passed away on October 26, 2017 in Corpus Christi, Texas. He was 48 years old.
Lloyd was born on September 29, 1969 in Manila, Philippines. As a child, Lloyd had many accomplishments including spelling bee champion as well as training with Chuck Norris and earning his black belt in martial arts. He received his high school diploma from St. Rita College in 1986 then graduated from Adamson University in 1993 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Ceramic Engineering. He moved back to the United States in 1994.
Lloyd was a loving husband, father, son, brother, uncle, cousin and friend. He will always be remembered for his humor, tough love, guidance, and passion for cars. Lloyd followed his dreams and became the proud owner of his own automotive shop, Rogue Auto Boutique, as well as the Founder & President of the car club, Team Rogue. As much as he loved cars, there was just one thing he loved more – his family.
He is survived by his wife of 21 years, Cecilia A. Canosa; daughter Lorraine Canosa; son Dominc Canosa; his parents Luvinio and Nieva Canosa; his brother Luvinio Canosa Jr.; nephew and niece John David Canosa and Lavinia Canosa.
Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Friday, November 3, 2017 at Corpus Christi Funeral Home with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. that same evening.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 4, 2017 at Most Precious Blood Catholic Church.
Interment to follow at Seaside Memorial Park.
