Lillie Mae Boson was born to Mose and Mattie Wiley in Columbus, Georgia. She accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior at an early age. Lillie Mae united in Holy Matrimony to Tom B. Boson and to this union nine children were born in 1952, she relocated to Corpus Christi, Texas. Family and friends were important to her. She was always willing to give her all to others. Lillie Mae loved to dress and will always be remembered for her signature hats. She was a seamstress and beautician. She was employed with the Corpus Christi Independent School District food services for thirty-three years and also worked in the West Oso Independent School District food service department. Sister Lillie Boson united with Calvary First Baptist Church along with her husband and family under the leadership of Dr. H.C. Dilworth, Jr. and continued her spiritual journey of faithfulness under the current pastor, Bishop C.E. Richardson Sr. Sister Boson was one of the ladies of Calvary who supported her church and her pastor with her resources. She decorated the church and made it fit for a king. Sister Boson would prepare meals for Bishop Richardson and his family including the pastor’s favorite, mustard greens with hot water cornbread. Sister was a faithful supporter of her church from her sick bed, all because she really loved the Lord. Lillie Mae is preceded by her parents, husband, daughter, Leathe Mae Grant, grandson, Brandon Kizzee, daughter-in-law, Tammy Boson, and brothers, Isaac Wiley and Jake Wiley. Lillie Mae leaves to cherish her memories, sons, Michael, Arthur Lee, Tom and Ronald (Mechelle) Boson all of Corpus Christi, Texas, and Donald (Melinda Francis) Boson of San Antonio, Texas, daughters, Jenell Ross of Corpus Christi, Texas, Vernell Boson of Grand Prairie, Texas and Mattie B. (Dexter) Kizzee of Houston, Texas, son-in-law, Charles Grant of Corpus Christi, Texas, Adopted Son, Isaac (Denise) Wiley of San Antonio, Texas, 25 Grandchildren, 24 Great Grandchildren, 4 Great Great Grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends whose lives she touched. Funeral Service May 4, 2019 at 11:00 A.M. at Calvary First Baptist Church. Interment to follow at Memorial Garden Cemetery Pallbearers will be Arthur Lee Boson, Jr. Chris Grant, Jeffrey Lloyd, Zach Boson, Donald Lee Boson, and Isaac Wiley. Honorary Pallbearers will be Andrew Boson and Byron Kizzee
