Leticia S. Reyna

Leticia (Letie) S Reyna, known to many as “Wela” and “Yaya”, loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, and sister, passed away on September 15, 2021. She was born on August 13, 1954 in Brownsville, TX to Isabel and Ramon Saldana. Letie will always be remembered as a tell-it-like-it-is person who adored her family, loved to go to “Ching Ching” and to play bingo. She had a laugh that was contagious and wouldn’t hesitate to give you her last dollar if you needed it. She was a mom to every person that walked through her door. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Maximo Reyna Jr.; parents, Isabel and Ramon Saldana; two brothers, Raul Trevino and Roland (Bo) Saldana; three sisters, Irma (Yolie) Trevino, Maria Del Carmen Cardona, and Estella Hernandez.
Leticia is survived by son, Chris (Sandy) Villarreal; four daughters, Priscilla (John) Villarreal, Candy (Domingo) Reyna, Eudelia V. Rodriguez, and Rhonda (Carlos) Garcia; one brother, Rene (Norma) Saldana; two sisters, Rhonda Govea and Judy Saldana; seven grandchildren, Lee Andrew (Jo) Flores, Jackie Villarreal, Donovin Johnson, Benjamin Rodriguez, Cassadee Garcia, Avery Hill, and Everly Flores; three great-grandchildren, Lee Andrew Flores Jr., Ocean Flores, and Isaac Flores; best friend, Berty Escamilla; nieces, Ann Marie Garcia, Ruby Saldana, and all her other loving nieces and nephews; two pet dogs, Lulu and Lily.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 28, 2021, with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. that same evening at Corpus Christi Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, September 29, 2021 at Corpus Christi Funeral Home. Interment to follow at Rose Hill Memorial Park.
Having the distinguished honor to serve, as pallbearers are Lee Andrew Flores, Juan Miranda, Pedro Hernandez III, Domingo Ybarra, Rene Saldana, Joe Desrosiers, and Joe Rodriguez, who will all be led by her loving son, Chris Villarreal.
