Larry Lee Irwin

Larry Irwin, age 80, passed away January 5, 2020. He was born on July 25, 1939 to Oscar and Ruth Irwin in Amarillo, Texas. He graduated from Palo Duro High School in 1958. He enlisted in the United States Army during the Vietnam era and was a Corporal E-4. He married his wife of 45 years on May 28, 1965. Larry was employed by Frito Lay. He was a loving father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He will always be remembered for his devotion to family.
Larry is preceded in death by his parents, Oscar and Ruth Irwin and wife, Barbara Irwin.
Larry is survived by his children, Larry Irwin Jr., Karen Worthey, Randy Irwin and Jerry Irwin (Crystal), grandchildren, Kimberly, Brittney, Michael, Mikayla and Faith Stroud, Dylan and Bradley Worthey, Andrew and April Irwin, great-grandchildren, Jackie, Kaylie, John, Raelene, Zane, Baili, Little Larry and Franklin.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Friday, January 10, 2020 at Reid Chapel in Seaside Memorial Park, followed by a Funeral Service at 7:00 p.m. that same evening.
