Kendra Jenece Pride Holbert, age 44, passed away on July 14, 2021. Kendra was born on February 1, 1977 to Doris Jennings and Eugene “Dit” Pride. She graduated from West Oso High School in 1995. Kendra was employed by the City of Corpus Christi with the water division. Kendra enjoyed singing, listening to music and spending time with her children. She also enjoyed singing at various churches around the coastal bend. She will always be remembered for her devotion to family, her beautiful family, the groups she sang with (Joy of Faith & Euphony), dedication to her church, and her bright smile.
Kendra is preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Robert Falsom, paternal grandmother, Mamie Lee Moore, maternal grandfather, Sir Clifton Cobb, maternal grandmother, Amanda Jones, father, Eugene “Dit” Pride, and a host of other relatives.
Kendra is survived by her mother, Doris Pride Jennings, children, De’Andre Morgan, Jaden Goodley and Julian Ross, siblings, Eric White, Joshua Nelson, Stephanie Jennings, Kendra Jennings and Ebony Jennings, nieces and nephews, Christopher Jordan Blanton, Eric White Jr., Jasmine White, Kyme Simmons, Kenyiah Jennings and Karlishia Goods.
Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 22, 2021 with a prayer service at 7:00 p.m. that same evening, at Corpus Christi Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, July 23, 2021 at Calvary First Baptist Church. Interment to follow at Rose Hill Memorial Park.
Having the distinguished honor to serve, as pallbearers are Eric White Sr., Eric White Jr., Christopher Jones, Tyrone Skinner, Shaquille Earls, Anthony Ford, Rodney Williams and Jeremy Williams. Honorary pallbearers are Kevin Michael Wade and Steven Michael Jennings.
