Juanita G. Sanchez

Juanita G. Sanchez, age 78, passed away November 16, 2019. She was born on July 29, 1941, in Corpus Christi, Texas, to Abel V. and Maria Refugia Gonzalez. Juanita was a unit clerk and later retired from Driscoll Children’s Hospital. She loved and enjoyed working with children and traveling. Juanita was a member of the Divine Mercy group and faithfully prayed three times a day. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend.
Juanita is preceded in death by her parents, son, Abel Sanchez and sister, Anita Gonzalez.
Juanita is survived by her husband, of 59 years, Oscar B. Sanchez, children: Rene Sanchez (Kim), Jo Kerr (Jason), Jessica Sanchez, 10 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, sisters; Gloria Trevino, Priscilla Leal and Mary Estella Gonzalez.
A Memorial Service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 23, 2019 at Corpus Christi Funeral Home.
