Juan Gilberto Salinas Sr.

Juan Gilberto Salinas Sr., age 73, passed away February 18, 2021. He was born June 28, 1947, in Corpus Christi, Texas, to Gilberto and Rebecca Salinas. Juan attended Bishop High School in Bishop, Texas. Juan was a retired truck driver. He enjoyed playing the bajosesto and bass guitar in conjuntos with his family. Juan will always be remembered for his great personality. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather.
Juan is preceded in death by his wife, Blasa De Luna Salinas.
Left behind to cherish his memory are his children, Juan Gilberto Salinas Jr., Endelia Salinas, Noel Salinas Sr., and Raymond Salinas, grandchildren, Crystal Galindo, Alex Salinas, Noel Salinas Jr, Raymond Salinas Jr., Jadelynn Salinas, Rylan Salinas and Everleigh Salinas.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Friday, March 5, 2021 with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. that same evening at Corpus Christi Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 6, 2021 at Ss. Cyril & Methodius Catholic Church. Interment to follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Having the distinguished honor to serve, as pallbearers, are Eric Chavez, Noel Salinas Jr., Henry Salinas, Richard Cortez, Ernest Salinas and Alex Salinas.
