Juan Garza Jr.

Juan Garza, Jr. age 42, passed away on November 2, 2019. Juan was born on July 2, 1977, in Corpus Christi, Texas to Velia Smithwick Garza and Juan Garza, Sr. Juan is proceeded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents.

Juan is survived by; his loving mother Velia Garza; his beautiful daughter, Ariella Grace Garza; brother, Ignacio Zaragosa Jr. (late Maria Zaragosa); sister, Maricela Garza-Ortiz (Raul Ortiz); and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Juan adored his daughter and cherished every moment he was able to spend with her or talk to her. His countenance changed instantly in her presence or at the sound of her voice. His daughter was his greatest gift, the joy of his heart, his princess, and ray of sunshine.

Juan was a faithful dad, son, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin, and friend. He will be remembered for his free spirit, devotion to his family, readiness to give a helping hand, and forgiving heart- he held no grudges. Juan had a heart of gold, and would stop whatever he was doing to give a helping hand to anyone.

Juan (Mijito, Daddy, Juanito, Brother, Bambino, Johnny, John) will be greatly missed by all who knew him and loved him most. He was our beautiful gift from God.
