Juan Eugenio Morin

Juan “Johnny” E. Morin Sr., age 57, passed away November 25, 2019. He was born on February 25, 1962 to Edward and Eva Morin. Johnny was born and raised in Corpus Christi, Texas. He received his G.E.D. and at 16 years old, he was a Barber. He was also a brown belt in Martial Arts and a Masonry. Johnny was a loving father, son, brother, cousin, uncle, grandfather and father-in-law.
Johnny enjoyed fishing, spending time with family, building things and especially fish tanks. He will always be remembered for his love of laughter, smile, sense of adventure, cutting hair, music and dancing. He enjoyed the beach, barbecuing, and living life to the fullest.
Juan “Johnny” is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents; Fabian and Maria Garcia, his parents; Edward and Eva Morin, son; Juan E. “Cha-Chi” Morin Jr., half-brother; Edward Morin Jr., half-sister; Erlinda Morin Lee, uncles; Erineo Garcia, Fabian Garcia Jr., Ramon Garcia, Adam Garcia, aunts; Pancha and Esperanza Garcia, sons; Juan Edward Morin and Juan Enrique Morin.
Juan “Johnny” is survived by his daughters; Stephanie (Luis) Morin-Ramirez and their children, Izzak Ramirez, Leah Ramirez and Felomena Gonzalez, Ashley Esquivel (Brandon Mata) and their children, Caleb Mata and CayLeigh Mata, Amber Rodriguez (Ralph) and their children; Paul Rodriguez, Joseph Rodriguez, Ara’Leah Rodriguez, Amber’Lynn Rodriguez, Mark’Anthony Martinez and Micah Martinez, Alyssa Jimenez (Justin Lopez) and their children, Addalyn Lopez, John Jimenez and Mia Gil, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m on Friday, December 20, 2019 at Corpus Christi Funeral Home, 2409 Baldwin BLVD, a Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. that same evening. A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, January 3, 2020 at Rose Hill Memorial Park.
