Juan S. Arredondo

Juan “Luis” Arredondo was called to Heaven on December 9, 2018. He was born in Corpus Christi, Texas on August 11, 1953 to Jesus Arredondo and Margarita Castillo. His 65 years here on earth were lived unselfishly. He was married to the love of his life, Eva, for 43 years and, they raised three daughters. He worked as a Supervisor and Truck Driver for Coca Cola Enterprises for many years up until the day he became too ill to continue to do so at which time, he retired and began his second career as being THE BEST GRANDPA in the world. His hobbies included volunteering for school events, attending every recital, awards assembly and sporting event that his children and grandchildren were involved in. He will always be remembered for his joking manner, being a father figure to many, giving the best fatherly/grandfatherly advice, helping anyone in need, telling wild stories (and, Man, there were some doozies!), the unconditional love that he had for his family but mostly, for being the most AMAZING HUSBAND, DAD & GRANDPA ever! He was his Wife’s Best Friend, His Daughters’ Hero and a fighter up until the very end. He will be missed and cherished every single day.
Luis is survived by his Wife, Eva; Daughters: Cathy (Billy), Diana, Tracey (Juan); Son: Joey; Grandchildren: Gabby, Issaiah, Katie, LJ, Abby, Trinity, Caitlin, JJ, Layla, Kenedy, Brooke and Jonathan; Brothers: Tony (Olga), Benny (Sylvia), Julian (Aracely), Brother-In-Laws: Ramiro Sr., Raymond & Robert; Sisters: Lupe (Joe), Pat (Juan), Refugia (Richard), Dora (Rudy), Diane (David) and numerous nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his Mother, Margarita Castillo Flores; his Father and Stepmother, Jesus & Felipa Arredondo; Brother: Jesse; Sisters: Mary, Mercy and Cristina.
A Church Memorial Service will be held at Saints Cyril & Methodius Catholic Church located at 3210 S. Padre Island Dr., CC, TX on Saturday, December 15, 2018, at 10:00 a.m. with a Celebration of Life gathering immediately following at the family’s ranch located at 8759 County Road 2411 in Sinton, TX.
