Josephine H. Ybanez, age 74, passed away on Wednesday, July 11, 2018 in Corpus Christi, Texas.
Josephine was born on January 29, 1944 to Refugia and Manuel Herrera Sr. Josephine was a homemaker who liked shopping and playing bingo. She will always be remembered for her love of laughter and devotion to family. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. Josephine H. Ybanez is preceded in death by her husband, Santos Ybanez, her son Jesus Herrera, sister Mary H. Rodriguez, her brothers Ruben, Mike and Manuel Herrera Jr.
Josephine H. Ybanez is survived by her nephew Porfirio Rodriguez Jr.; sister Elma (Pete) Costilla; her brother Juan Herrera; numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 18, 2018 at Corpus Christi Funeral Home with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. that same evening.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 19, 2018 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
Interment to follow at Rose Hill Memorial Park.
