Jose Francisco Villanueva

Jose Francisco Villanueva, age 64, passed away on September 6, 2021. He was born on October 4, 1956 to Maricano and Gregoria Villanueva in Weslaco, Texas. He worked at Flint Hills Refinery. He enjoyed collecting rifles, guns, antique vehicles, playing pool, and going to the ranch.
Jose is preceded in death by his parents, Maricano and Gregoria Villanueva.
Jose is survived by his wife of 45 years, Maria Villanueva, four daughters; Melissa Villanueva, Sandra Castillo (Arturo), Esmeralda Villanueva (Roy), and Joanna Villanueva, eight grandchildren; Angel Campos, Nicolas Hill, Elianna Robledo, Laliah Robledo, Jalynne Basaldu, Amaris Garcia, Abigail Garcia, and Audrey Garcia, nine siblings; Maria, Norberta, Alberto, Leticia, Luis, Christina, Rosalva, Pedro, Diana, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be begin at 12:00 p.m. followed by a Rosary and Funeral service at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 12, 2021 at Reid Chapel in Seaside Memorial Park. Services will conclude that afternoon.
