Jose Antonio Salinas

Jose Antonio “Tony” Salinas, age 61, passed away April 22, 2021. He was born on October 23, 1959 to Simon and Maria Alicia Salinas. He was born and raised in Corpus Christi, Texas. He graduated from Richard King High School in 1978. Tony was a loving father, son, brother, uncle and grandfather.
He will always be remembered for his ability to bring the humor to every situation and for the deep love and investment he had for his family.

Tony is preceded in death by his father, Simon M. Salinas, niece Nicole Grace Flores, great-niece, Malia Jayde Salinas.
Tony is survived by his mother, Maria Alicia Salinas, one daughter, Catherine (Andrew) Garza, three grandchildren, Jeremiah, Charlotte and Jack Garza, seven siblings, Simon (Charisse) Salinas, Maria (Rick) Mayden, Mary Alice (Gerardo Pliego) Salinas, Nora (Alfredo) Flores, Gabe (Terri) Salinas, Vickie (Bobby) Estringel and John Salinas, ten nieces and nephews, Michelle (Sam) Chapa, Mindy Mayden, Joshua (Kashia), Danielle Salinas, James Salinas, Kierstin Salinas, Eric Flores, Robert Estringel, Gerard Pliego, Giancarlo Pliego; four great-nieces and nephews, Dominic and Liam Salinas and Avery and Gaige Martinez.
Services will be private.

Having the distinguished honor to serve, as pallbearers are Simon Salinas, Gabriel Salinas, John Salinas, Joshua Salinas, Eric Flores, Andrew Garza, Robert Estringel and Pat Montez.
