Jose Antonio Garza

Jose Antonio Garza, age 73, passed away on January 4, 2021. He was born on May 5, 1947 to Aurelio Garza and Ernestina Vasquez. He graduated from La Cademia Ignacio Zaragoza, Valle Hermoso Tamalupias.
Toño enjoyed commercializing and will always be remembered for his love of laughter. He was a loving son, husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, uncle and friend. Our father was known for always being the funny guy and bringing remembrance to our family history. Our father enjoyed building keepsake items for special occasions. He was always happy around his loved ones. He expressed himself as being our mother’s clown. He was a respectful and admirable gentleman.
Toño is preceded in death by his parents and siblings: Elida Garza, Eglantina Rodriguez and Herberto Garza.
Toño is survived by his wife: Maria Guadalupe Garza; children : Roxanne (Richard) Vela of Corpus Christi, TX, Belle (Ricardo Garcia) Vilgar of San Antonio, TX, Nancy (David) Valadez of Corpus Christi, TX and Jose Antonio (Delmy) Garza Jr. of Corpus Christi, TX; niece: Lorena (Andres) De Leon of Corpus Christi, TX; grandchildren: Richard M. (Joanna) Vela, Brianna N. Vela, Brenda V. Villarreal, Anthony Villarreal Jr., Alexia J. Valadez, David Valadez Jr., Adrian J. Valadez, Jose Orlando Garza, Joe Anthony Garza III, Alysa B. Garza and Lexis S. Garza; great-grandchild: Belen M. Villarreal; grand-niece and nephew: Andres J. De Leon and Genesis De Leon and great-grandniece: Natalia Zelda De Leon.
A visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 20, 2021 at Corpus Christi Funeral Home, followed by a Prayer Service at 7:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, January 21, 2021 at Corpus Christi Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery. A livestream of the services will be available.
