Johnny S. Landa

Johnny Landa, age 78, passed away on June 22, 2020. He was born on October 22, 1941 to Andres and Eva Landa. Johnny was employed by the City of Corpus Christi, as a mechanic for 32 years. He enjoyed woodwork and taking care of his plants, yard, family and his grandchildren. He will always be remembered for the love he gave to all his family and friends. Johnny was a loving father, husband, grandfather, brother and uncle.
Johnny is preceded in death by his parents, Andres and Eva Landa, 2 sons, Joe Landa and Felix Landa, 2 sisters; Natalia Lerma and Juanita Landa, 5 brothers; Santana Landa, Andres Landa Jr., Paulino Landa, Ricardo Landa and Joe Landa.
Johnny is survived by his wife, of 53 years, Angie Landa, daughter, Elvira Landa, 3 grandchildren; Jesse L. Morales Jr., Claudia Landa and Christina (Joshua) Garza, 15 great-grandchildren, 3 sisters; Lydia Landa, Janie L. Rosas and Connie (Ruben) Cortez, brother figure, Ruben Cortez, sisters-in-law; Mary Alice Alcala, Elida Dominguez and Mary Sue Garcia, numerous nieces and nephews, whom he loved very much.
Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 4, 2020 at Corpus Christi Funeral Home.
Due to COVID limitations, the service will be limited 65 people. A livestream of the service will be available for friends and family to view from their home. Masks are required.
