Joe R. DeLeon

Joe R. DeLeon, age 87, passed away on March 17, 2021. He was born on February 15, 1934 to Esteban DeLeon and Blaza R. DeLeon. Joe enjoyed working on the yard, cleaning his vehicles, loved to be the boss of everyone. He loved visiting the Church in San Juan, Texas.

Joe is preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Federico R. DeLeon, Noe R. DeLeon, Raymundo R. DeLeon, Benito R. DeLeon, Juan R. DeLeon and Noe DeLeon Jr.

He is survived by his wife, Elisa L. DeLeon, children, Carmen D.L. Rubio, Linda D.L. Aguilar, grandchildren, Gilbert Rubio Jr., Virginia Lee Bonilla, Elisa Marie Ayala, David DeLeon Aguilar Jr., Denise M. Aguilar, brothers and sisters, Freddy R. DeLeon, Evelyn Moreno.

Visitation will be start at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 20, 2021 with a rosary/funeral service at 1:30 p.m. that same day at Corpus Christi Funeral Home. Interment to follow at Rose Hill Memorial Park.

Having the distinguished honor to serve as pallbearers are Gilbert Villarreal, David Aguilar, Carlos Bonilla, Isaac Bonilla, Denise Aguilar, Gilbert Rubio Jr. and David Aguilar Jr.
