Jesus Melchor, age 71, passed away on Tuesday, July 16, 2019 in Corpus Christi, Texas.
Jesus was born on October 29, 1947 to Jesus S. Melchor Sr. and Guadalupe Melchor. He was an avid pool player, enjoyed being with family and a good mechanic. He is preceded in death by his brother Raymond Martinez and grandmother Cecilia Garza.
He is survived by his wife, Gracie Melchor; mother Guadalupe Martinez; 6 children, Nancy Melchor, Michael (Stephanie) Melchor, Mark Melchor, Monica (Richard) Ramirez, Jesus (Homer) Melchor, Selena (Jason) Johnson; 3 stepchildren, Priscilla Henderson, Duke Henderson, Luis Perales; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren; his brother, Ernest; 4 sisters, Velma, Irma, Norma and Yolanda.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 25, 2019 at Corpus Christi Funeral Home with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. that same evening.
Funeral Service will be held at 12 noon on Friday, July 26, 2019 at Corpus Christi Funeral Home.
Interment will follow at Rose Hill Memorial Park.
