Jesus Antonio "Jesse" Gongora

Jesus Antonio “Jesse” Gongora, age 73, passed away Friday, August 9, 2019. Jesse was born May 17, 1946 to Marciano R. Gongora and Elodia Sanchez. He enjoyed going to dog races, watching sports, spending time with family and Bar-B-Queing, playing darts, pool and bowling. 

Jesse is preceded in death by his father, Marciano R. Gongora Sr,  his mother, Elodia S. Gongora and his sister Socorro “Cora” Gongora. 

Jesse is survived by his children, Gloria Gongora Saenz (John Lee Saenz), Juan Antonio Gongora (Theresa) Laura Marie Gongora (Gabriel), his brother, Marciano Gongora, Jr., his grandchildren, Shelby Lee Saenz, Stacy Ann Gongora, Ashley Nicole Gongora, Renee Ann Davila, Ciara Nicole Carrasco, Destiny Celeste Carrasco, Mariah Reina Silva, Gabriel Silva, Jr., grandchildren, Otto Flores and Breanna Flores, great grandchildren, Ezequiel “Zeke” Isaac Perez, Penelope Rose Cantu, Milani Frances Carrasco, and Nico Flores, the mother of his children, Magali A. Gongora and numerous nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held at 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 17, 2019 at Corpus Christi Funeral Home with a Rosary and Funeral service a 2:00 p.m.
