Jean Louise Armstrong

Jean Louise Armstrong, age 58, passed away on August 22, 2019. Jean was born on August 21, 1961 to Willis and Raymona Armstrong. She graduated from Skidmore-Tynan ISD in 1979. She enlisted in the Army Reserves from 1982 through 1987. Jean was employed by the Corpus Christi Independent School District. Jean enjoyed participation in all athletic sports. She played softball and began a run club for her students as well as a community garden. Jean loved to fish and cycle. Jean was also a gamer, she loved her xbox and her dogs, they were her children. She loved classic rock and would jam out while she drove. She will always be remembered for her devotion to her students and family, she was always there for anyone in need. She was a true friend to anyone who knew her. Jean was a loving, sister, aunt, cousin and friend.
Jean Louise Armstrong is preceded in death by her father, Willis Bradford Armstrong.
Jean is survived by her mother, Raymona Armstrong, brother, James Armstrong, sisters, Pamela Armstrong and Samantha Mortensen, niece, Ashley Ledbetter and her family, nephew, Thomas Doubrava and his family, nephew, Anthony Armstrong and many loving friends.
A Memorial Service will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 31, 2019 at Corpus Christi Funeral Home.
