Javier F. Garza

Javier F. Garza, age 56, passed away on September 30, 2019. He was born on September 14, 1963, in Corpus Christi, Texas, to Jesus and Magdalena Garza. He served in the United States Navy. Javier was a long time member of Corpus Christi Cathedral. He was also a member of the Knights of Columbus. He enjoyed working on his cars and fishing. Javier was a loving son, brother, uncle, cousin and friend. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
Javier is preceded in death by his father, Jesus A. Garza, Sr. and uncle, Ralph Ornelas.
Javier is survived by his mother, Magdalena Garza, sister, Estella Boyes (Aaron), brother, Jesus Garza, Jr., nephews and nieces, Thomas Dykes, Bryan Javier Hunter, Heather Martinez (Raymond III), great-nieces and great-nephews, Allison, Maggie, Alexandra, Thomas IV, Kairi, Raymond IV, and Morrigan, numerous cousins and friends.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 3, 2019 at Corpus Christi Funeral Home, a Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. that same evening. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, October 4, 2019 at Corpus Christi Cathedral Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Rose Hill Memorial Park.
