James Arthur Jones

James Arthur Jones, age 42, passed away August 8, 2022. He was born July 21, 1980 to Ester Hernandez and Arthur Jones. James was employed by VIP Car Wash for 10 years. He enjoyed smoking and playing dominoes. He will always be remembered for his love for his children, nephews and nieces. James was a loving father, son, brother and uncle.

James is preceded in death by his grandparents, Arthur Jones and Lillie Mae Jones.
James is survived by his mother, Ester Hernandez, father, Arthur Jones (Barbara), children: David Lee Jones, Jaylon Jones, Jynesis Jones, Arthur Jones; his siblings: Barbara McDonald (Phillip), Niah Hernandez, Ayden Hernandez; nieces and nephews: Andrue Haywood, Justin Haywood, Breynan Haywood, Ayrika Haywood; great nephews: Andrue Haywood, Jr., Amias Haywood, Silece Haywood, Santana Haywood, Sosa Haywood and close cousins.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM, Monday, August 15, 2022 at Corpus Christi Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, August 16, 2022 at Corpus Christi Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Rose Hill Memorial Park. Fellowship will follow at Pan American Golf Association, 801 Horne Rd Corpus Christi, Tx. 78416 from 2:00 PM until 5:00 PM.

Having the distinguished honor to serve as pallbearers are Andrue Haywood, Fred Thomas, Justin Haywood, Phillip Taylor, Jaylon Jones, and Mark Martinez. Honorary pallbearers are Arthur Jones, Ayden Hernandez, Santana Haywood, Sosa Haywood, Amias Haywood, Silece Haywood, Andrue Haywood, Jr.
