Israel Soza Sr., age 76, born February 13, 1943, in Rio Grande, Texas, passed away on May 4, 2019, in Corpus Christi, Texas.
Mr. Soza is preceded in death by his parents: Santos & Margarita Soza; sister: Emma; and brothers: Eliseo, Ramiro, and Silverio.
He is survived by his loving wife: Elida Soza; daughter Diana Santos & husband Patricio; son: Israel Soza Jr., & wife Elva; brother: Santos Soza Jr.; grandchildren: Sarah Elizabeth Hernandez, Israel Soza III, Clarissa Grace Soza, and Laney Yselle Soza; great grandchildren: Zenaida Jezel, Kevin, Samaya Jenel, and Mia Jade, as well as numerous extended relatives and friends.
A Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 9, 2019, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. at Funeraria Del Angel Trevino Funeral Home, 2525 Palo Alto Rd.
A Funeral Procession will depart from the funeral home at 9:30 a.m. on Friday, May 10, 2019, for a 10:00 a.m. Mass of Resurrection to be celebrated at St. Lawrence Catholic Church, 236 E. Petaluma St. Interment to follow in Mission South Burial Park.
