Hilda Reyna

Hilda Reyna, age 68, passed away on Saturday July 17, 2021 at home surrounded by her family after a long hard battle with her illness. 
Hilda was born on August 26, 1952 to the late Rosendo Olvera and Alicia Barrera Olvera. Hilda married the love of her life Jose Reyna and spent forty-eight extraordinary years together. Hilda was a wonderful wife and mother, she cared deeply for her family. 
She will always be remembered for her big beautiful brown eyes, her strong willed personality and her giving heart. Hilda’s hands were rarely stilled; she loved cooking, baking, sewing, crafting, gardening and dancing. 
Hilda is preceded in death by her parents, Rosendo Olvera and Alicia Barrea Olvera, and her brother Arnoldo Olvera. 
Hilda is survived by her husband Jose Reyna, children Belinda O. Reyna (Toby), Melissa Reyna (Michael), Jose Reyna Jr (Syndie), and Ashley Mendoza (John), 10 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild and one on the way, her brothers Rosendo Olvera, Ramiro Olvera and her sister Emma Olvera Vasquez. 
Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Friday, July 23, 2021 with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. that same evening. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 24, 2021 at SS Cyril and Methodius Catholic Church. Interment to follow at Rose Hill Memorial Park.
