Obituary

Hilarion R. Villanueva, age 81, passed away on April 27, 2022. He was born October 21, 1940 to Guadalupe and Maria Villanueva. He graduated from Donna High School. Lalo was employed and retired from Koch Refinery. He enjoyed singing in a mariachi band, church choir or at home. But, his favorite was singing to his grandchildren. He will always be remembered for his devotion to God and family, and the joy he brought to our lives with his sense of humor and his loving smile. Lalo was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and uncle.
 Lalo is preceded in death by his parents, Guadalupe and Maria Villanueva and his Tia Carmen.
 Lalo is survived by his loving wife, Josefa Villanueva; his children: Elizabeth (Rudolfo), Lee (Mary), Reynaldo (Trish), Raymond (Jennifer), Missy, Connie (Felipe), Adrian (Crystal); grandchildren: Rodolfo Jr., Gloria, Cassandra, Ciara, Xavier, Majesta, Jaiden, Anthony, Lillian, Alexander, Andru, Kailyn, Dominick, Thaddeus; great grandchildren: Cesar, Jocelyn, Isai, Ethan, Savannah, Brittany, Cassie, Lexus, Damian, Lucy, Jesus Jr., Mercedes, Josiah, Leviticus, Carmine, Zayne, Ivy, Zariah, Aura; siblings: Guadalupe, Antonia, Oralia, Eleda, San Juanita, Ramon  and numerous nieces and nephews.
 Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM, Tuesday, May 3, 2022 at Corpus Christi Funeral Home with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 PM that same evening. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 AM, Wednesday, May 4, 2022 at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Rose Hill Memorial Park.
 Having the distinguished honor to serve as pallbearers are Xavier Galvan, Alexander Pecero, Andru Rodriguez, Anthony Galvan, Felipe Rodriguez and Lee Villanueva.
