Harry John (Jack) O’Shea Jr. age 94, passed away peacefully at home, with his wife of 53 years at his side.
Jack was born on November 28, 1928 to Lillian Miller O’Shea and Harry John O’Shea Sr. in Chicago. Following graduation from a Chicago high school, he spent some time playing in the minor baseball league as a pitcher. After that, he enrolled in the University of Miami to study business. His professional life started working in investments and ended forming his own company in Corpus Christi – Clarion Oil
In addition to a strong work ethic, he was very sensitive to needs of both people and particularly of helpless animals. His favorite charities included Peewee’s Pet Adoption, Catholic Church care of the poor and music. His favorite hobbies were tennis, travel, music and the stock market. Jack enjoyed life and will always be remembered by his laughter, generosity and friendliness.
A funeral mass will be held at 1:30pm Tuesday, May 30th at St. Pius X Catholic Church. Placement of the ashes in the crypt at Seaside to follow the mass at 2:30pm. A reception at the church will follow.
