Rest in paradise Uncle Harley. I'm sure you have told a thousand stories and made all of the other angels cry with laughter by now. Heaven will definitely be a lot less quiet from now until eternity! Thank you for teaching us to be accountable for our actions, to be conscious of the world around us and to be loyal and present for our family and friends. No one will ever fill your shoes but thank you for sharing your walk! With Love Always, your "Niecey" Kelle Dockery.

My condolences to the Smallwood families. I'm sorry to hear about the loss of dear Harley. Some Bible scriptures that have helped me during times of loss include Isaiah 26:19 and Psalm 37:28,29 which states in part: "Your dead ones will live...They will rise up". And the Bible also says "The righteous themselves will possess the earth, and they will forever reside upon it". This is further confirmed by John 5:28,29 which says "Do not marvel at this, because the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out". This is possible thanks to Jesus Christ's ransom sacrifice. Thus we have a genuine hope of everlasting life in a world without wickedness or suffering. I hope that these scriptures will be of some comfort to you.

A beautiful sun shining day with moderate and comfortable temperatures was the 17th of October 2013, Thursday morning at 11:30 when Harley came to my front door and introduced himself to me. Harley was the first of our neighbors to meet me and later my wife.
Harley and I immediately connected with our own unique personalities. I will always treasure the day that Harley appeared in my life. As time continued on Harley and I shared our life stories of service to our fellow man and to our Country. It was amazing that two men from very different backgrounds had so much in common in their life. One thing was for certain, we both loved our families and our Country; and in doing so, we honored our Heavenly Father with our actions in life.
We will miss Harley’s smiles, hugs and laughter. Our friendship was so perfect. Every time we met, we always greeted each other with a loving greeting and a big hug.
I know Harley is at Peace in His Father’s House. We will always remember Harley, for he shared his life with us.

To Stephanie and Family: There are no words. We are truly blessed that Harley had you in his life and want you to know that our hearts, thoughts, and prayers are with you now and always.
To Cousin Harley: The sun came out the morning you left us. I know you were saying that you are ok and will be fine. I also know in my heart you are with Aunt Ginny, Granny, Troy, and Rel. So rest until we meet again. We love you and will miss you more than you know.
