Guadalupe Romero Martinez, age 92, passed away on November 21, 2021. Guadalupe was born on August 6, 1929 to Juan Romero and Maria Velez. She was a loving mother and grandmother. She was the original Bingo Queen. She was a traveler and loved visiting her family.
Guadalupe is preceded in death by sons, Philip Roy Martinez, Raul Martinez, Jr and Leonardo Martinez, and siblings; Maria Alfaro, Luis Romero, Esperanza Barrera, Oscar Romero, Efren Romero, Juan Romero, and Daniel Romero.
Guadalupe is survived by her children: Sylvia Martinez, Hilda Salazar (Juan), Oscar Martinez (Rachel), Roxanne Martinez, Laura Robbins (Mike), and Daniel Martinez. Grandchildren: Leon Martinez (Becky), Cynthia Martinez, Mystica C. Martinez, Mellissa Clearman (Kyle), Brandy Celedon (Rick), Adrian Martinez (Michelle), Scarlet Aguirre (John), Benjiman J. Martinez (Priscilla), Albert Martinez, Andrew Martinez (Tiffany), Korin Thurman, Angelica Roche (Benny), Jessica Litts (Corey), Jamie Thurman, Elizabeth Perez, Christina Martinez, Karen Mondragon, Sofia Medina, Ben Medina, Philip Merrit, and Yavonn Martinez. Great-grandchildren, Bree Anna Martinez, Gabe Martinez (Jaycie), Alex Martinez (Blair), Marcus Martinez, Brian K Jones (Shania), Mercedes Re’ Moore, Garrett Hawkes, Hillary Merino (Grady), Leonard David Merino, Jr., Shelby Celedon, Noah Martinez, Zoey Martinez, Charlotte Martinez, Sienna Estrella, Nathaniel Martinez, Cameron Roy Martinez, Starla Martinez, Benjiman Roche, Joseph Roche, Amina Roche, Pesephone Perez, Andromeda Perez, Odysseus Perez, Kairi Loy, Dakota Loy, Shawn Reed Jr., Angelo Ellis, Jae’don Jones, Victoriah Jones, Daniel Jones and Dayveena Jones, numerous great-great grandchildren, and great-great-great grandchildren, Siblings, Imelda Romero, Martha Elva Escamilla, and Francisco Javier Romero and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 23, 2021 with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. that same evening at Corpus Christi Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 24, 2021 at Most Precious Blood Catholic Church. Interment to follow at Rose Hill Memorial Park.
