Gloria Garza Rodriguez

Gloria Garza Rodriguez, age 73, passed away on June 5, 2021. Gloria was born on July 11, 1947 to Tomas C. Garza and Maria Villalpando. She graduated from Roy Miller High School in 1966. Gloria also attended East Los Angeles College and graduated top of her class. , she enrolled in a nursing program and graduated top of her class from the nursing program. Gloria was employed by LA County General Hospital as a registered nurse, specializing in pediatrics. She enjoyed karaoke, bingo, music, getting on planes and traveling to Disneyland. She loved her family and children dearly. She always had a smile that lit up a room. She was a great friend to her many friends. She will always be remembered for her love of laughter, sense of humor, caring nature and for helping others when possible. Gloria was a loving mother, sister, aunt and friend.
Gloria is survived by her children, Lucinda Bayardo and Carlos Rodriguez, grandchildren, Matthew Bayardo and Joseph Carlitos Rodriguez, siblings, Janie Garza, Rosie Garza, Sara Garza, Sandra Garza, Mary Garza, Irma Garza
Tomas Garza, Robert Garza and Ruben Garza, nieces and nephews, Lorena Perez, Cecil Sanchez, Julie Sanchez, Rose Sanchez, Anthony Perez, Felipe Garza, Danny Sanchez, Catherine Walker, Robert Garza, Maricela Vasquez, Raul Garza, Ismael Garza, Sonny Garza, Ramsey Garza, Esmeralda Garza, Armando Garza and Tito Garza and extended family and friends in Los Angeles, California.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 13, 2021 with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m., that same evening, at Corpus Christi Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, June 14, 2021 at Corpus Christi Funeral Home. Interment to follow at Rose Hill Memorial Park.
Having the distinguished honor to serve, as pallbearers are Carlos Rodriguez, Matthew Bayardo, Billy Perez, Marky Perez, Isaac Rodarte, Ray Bayardo and Manuel Garza, Jr.
