Glenn Lavon White aged 66, passed away on March 18, 2018, at home with his family by his side. He was the son of Buster Lavon White and Goldie Marie (McCann) Beal. He attended Calallen High School, and later joined the United States Army. He later worked for Padre Drilling in the late 1970s to early 1980s. Glenn was a gifted musician, and could play any instrument that was given to him. He was also a songwriter. The guitar was his life. Glenn played country music in many places in Corpus Christi, around the Coastal Bend, New Mexico, and Colorado. He later pursued a career in truck driving for Service Trucking for 15 years. Glenn will be remembered for his crazy jokes, and sense of humor. He was a licensed pilot, and enjoyed flying for a hobby. Glenn is preceded in death by his father Buster Lavon White, and his “Daddy” Felton Russell Beal. He leaves behind two daughters Glenda Cook (Mark), and Shauna Bishop (Jeremy). He also had one son Danny L. White (Kendall). He also had 4 grandchildren, mother Goldie M. Beal, two sisters Vicky (Beal) Taber, Betty (Beal) Ballard, and one brother Larry R. Beal (Anissa). Glenn also had 4 nieces and 2 nephews. Many Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, and friends. Last but not least his beloved dog Sissy. Glenn will be missed by all of his family and friends.
Visitation will be begin at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, March 28, 2018 with Funeral Service to be held at 1:00 p.m. at Corpus Christi Altar of Prayer Church. Interment to follow at Rose Hill Memorial Park.
