Gilbert E. Corona

Gilbert E. Corona, age 65, passed away on May 23, 2021. Gilbert was born on January 15, 1956, in Devine, Texas, to Andrea Alvarez. He worked and lived in Washington State most his life. He was an avid Seahawks fan who enjoyed watching football and WWE wrestling. Gilbert will always be remembered for being a good man.
Gilbert is preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth Lyle.
Gilbert is survived by his mother and step-father, Julian and Andrea Alvarez, siblings, Yolanda (Sam) Lugo, Rosenda Cantu (Leonard Benavidez), Jose (Rosamaria) Garcia Jr., Jose Enrique (Magdalena) Garcia, Gabriel (Sandy) Garcia, Rachel (Jesse) Ortiz, Abel (Angie) Garcia, Martha (Gilbert) Mendez and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 2, 2021 with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. that same evening at Corpus Christi Funeral Home.
