Gerardo Ramirez

Gerardo Ramirez, 46, passed away on September 29, 2021. Gerardo was born in April 22, 1975 to Rafael and San Juanita Ramirez. He graduated from West Oso High School in 1994. He considered it one of his greatest achievements. He was previously employed by Burger King, where he worked as a night shift manager. He always worked hard and was very proud of his time with the company. Gerardo enjoyed collecting Action Figures and Air Jordans. He often gave his Superhero Action Figures to his nephews so they could enjoy them as much as he did.

Gerardo will always be remembered for his larger-than-life personality. He was friendly and outgoing. He loved to eat, laugh, and share stories about his friends and their adventures together. He was a friend to all and would gladly give you the shirt off his back. Gerardo was a loving son, brother, uncle, cousin, grandson.

Gerardo is preceded in death by his grandfather Jose Ramirez, his cousin Dominique Orozco, his great grandmother Consuelo Valdez, his aunt Consuelo Gonzalez, his grandfather Victor C. Valdez, and his uncle Roland Quinones.

Gerardo is survived by his parents Rafael and San Juanita Ramirez; his sisters Valerie (Eleazar) Pena, Sara (Martin) Cavazos, and his brother Jose Rafael (Melanie) Ramirez; his nieces and nephews Precious Pena, Ariel Pena, Eleazar Pena III (Brittney Clark), Armando Cavazos, Amelia Cavazos, Emiliano Cavazos, Joaquin Cavazos, Marivel (Andre) Felan-Saavedra, Alexandra (Johnathan) Brown, Gabrielle (Zane) Pisciotta, Megan Ramirez, Luke Ramirez, grandparents Paulita Valdez and Juana Pena; great nieces and nephews Adalynn and Alaia Pena, Octavius and Atticus Pisciotta, Elena Brown.

Visitation will be held from 3pm to 9pm on Wednesday October 13, 2021 with a Rosary at 7pm that same evening at Corpus Christi Funeral Home 2409 Baldwin Blvd. Services will conclude that same evening.
