George Louis Munoz

George Luis Munoz, age 67, passed away on January 09, 2021. He was born on September 14, 1953 to Manuel Munoz Sr. and Paula Sosa. He enjoyed fishing, garage sales, bingo, spending time with family and friends and sitting on his porch listening to music. He will always be remembered for his selfless heart, fiery temper, his Winston cigarettes, love of fishing and living his life how he wanted to. He was a jack of all trades and helped where he could, there might be a screw left over but he always said “ah, you don’t need that”.
George Luis Munoz was a loving son, brother, father, uncle, friend and daddy grandpa as his grandchildren called him.
He is preceded in death by his father, Manuel Munoz Sr. (Paula), his brother Samuel Munoz (Blanca), his sister Rose Vera (Richard), his niece Sonya Estrella Munoz, nephew Armando Robles Jr. and great niece Mariya Alyssa Castillo.
He is survived by his Mother, Paula Munoz; Children, Maria Valdez (Joe), Linda Escobar (Matt), Jaclyn Ramos (Santos), Laura Munoz (Gilbert), Georgina Fenner (Dustin), Cassandra Campos (Aaron) and Manuel Munoz (Chelsea); Grandchildren, Manuel L. Mendoza, Bianca Y. Valdez, Angelica M. Valdez, Rebecca M. Valdez, Sarah I. Martinez, Manuel C. Martinez, George L. Martinez, Samuel A. Martinez, Caitlyn A. Escobar, Matthew L. Escobar, Santos R. Ramos, Santos G. Ramos, Xiomara R. Ramos, Elisabeth A. Cruz, Carina C. Cruz, Lisandro L. Cruz, Ariceli D. Cruz, Grayson R. Fenner, Luna Fenner, Sol Fenner, Allison Campos, Aaron Campos Jr., Abigail Campos, Andrew Campos, Kimberly L. Munoz; Great Grandchildren, Paul A. Ortiz Jr., Ricky L. Ortiz, Manuel C. Martinez Jr., Abel J. Martinez and Gabriella R. Martinez; Siblings, Maggie Gonzalez, Manuel Munoz Jr. (Petra), Josie Munoz (Zenaido) Richard Munoz (Mary) and David Munoz (Anna); Numerous nieces and nephews whom he loved very much.
Visitation will be held from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on January 13, 2021 at Corpus Christi Funeral Home located at 2409 Baldwin Blvd., Corpus Christi, TX 78405. A prayer service will be recited at 7:00 p.m. that same evening.
