Gary Kevin Owen

Gary Kevin Owen passed away October 25, 2018. He was born on July 29, 1966 in Corpus Christi, Texas to Charles W. Owen and Barbara Jones (Owen) Smith. Gary worked in the sheet metal business with his father Charles and later with his brother Steve.
Gary is preceded in death by his father Charles W. Owen, his paternal grandparents, James Newton Owen and Mary Owen; maternal grandparents, Donald L. Jones and Eloise Doris Kitchens Jones.
He is survived by his mother, Barbara Jones (Owen) Smith (Joseph Smith); Brothers, Terry Owen (Joanie), Steve Owen (Julie); Sister, Kimberly Owen Thibodeaux (Jason), step sister, Shannon Chandler (Wayne), step brother Brian Smith and his best friend Carmen Navarro. He is also survived by many aunts and uncles but the apple of his eye was his “Aunt Sheryl”, his second mother.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on November 3, 2018 at Corpus Christi Funeral Home, 2409 Baldwin Blvd. Corpus Christi, Texas 78405.
