Frank Mejia Jr.

Frank Mejia Jr., 28 years old, joined our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on April 15, 2018. He truly was one of a kind. Full of life and personality that could light up a room, a very respectful young man that had a certain charm about him. He loved his family, friends, and his job as Whataburger Manager at #282. He also enjoyed being the Whataburger Mascot, “Whataguy”.
Some of his hobbies included fishing, playing guitar, BMX biking, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, and most recently riding his Honda CBR F4i motorcycle which ultimately took his life.
He is preceded in death by his paternal grandmother Lucy Mejia and his maternal grandparents Celestino and Berta Abrego. He is survived by his parents Frank and Sandra Mejia; sister Esther Mejia-Gutierrez (Arnulfo); his children Mikah and Malikai, their mom Korina and Kaiden and his mom Heather; nieces Rebekah, Pandora; nephew Tre; along with numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and his grandfather Bruno N. Mejia.
Visitation will begin at 4:00 PM on Thursday, April 19, 2018 at Altar of Prayer Church, 3945 Ayers St., with a Prayer Service to be held at 7:00 PM.
Funeral Service will be Friday April 20, 2018 at Altar of Prayer Church at 11:00 AM. Interment to follow at Seaside Memorial Park.
