Fernando G. Ramirez

Fernando G. Ramirez, age 64, passed away May 20, 2020. He was born on March 4, 1956 to David R. and Maria Luisa Ramirez in Corpus Christi, Texas. He graduated from Moody High School in 1974. He married his loving wife, Christina Ramirez on June 21, 1980 and they have been happily married for 39 years. Fernando retired from Little Caesars Pizza in 2005 after 20 years of service. Fernando was a loving husband, father, brother, son and grandfather. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, family barbeques, listening to the Rose King, going to the Kingdom Hall and attending Moody baseball games. He will always be remembered for his loving spirit, devotion to his family and his sense of humor.
Fernando is preceded in death by his father, David R. Ramirez, mother, Maria Luisa Ramirez, infant daughter, Priscilla Ramirez, sister, Gloria De La Fuente and nephew, Gabriel Ramirez.
Left behind to cherish the memories of Fernando are his wife, Christina Ramirez, his brother, David R. Ramirez, Jr., two sisters, Norma Saldivar and Patsy Ramirez, brothers-in-law, Tomas and Alvin Maldonado, sisters-in-law, Dolores Maldonado, Grace Pena and Estella Alvarez, his two sons, Fernando (Yasmin) Ramirez, Jr. and John C. Maldonado, as well as his six grandchildren, J.C., Jonathan, Fernando III, Joseph, Riley and his one and only princess, Sophia Priscilla.
Visitation will be held from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 23, 2020 at Corpus Christi Funeral Home, followed by a Talk at 7:00 p.m. that same evening.
Due to COVID limitations, services will be limited to immediate family only (50 people). A live stream of the Talk will be available for friends and family to view from their home.
In lieu of flowers, monetary donations may be made to Mrs. Christina Ramirez.
With a grateful heart, I Christina Ramirez, would like to personally thank Dr. Eisen Espina, Dr. Yvonne Manalo and all the other doctors, nurses and hospice staff that provided care for my loving husband.
