Felix De Leon Vallejo

Texas resident, Felix Vallejo, 85, passed away on October 15, 2020 at his home in Longview, Texas with his family at his side.

Felix Vallejo was born on May 2, 1935 in Realitos, Texas to Luz Vallejo and Cecilia DeLeon.
He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather who will dearly be missed. He worked for the City of Corpus Christi and retired after 30 years of employment. He was a musician and played the bajo sexto. He loved music and grew up playing in a band with his brothers for local community entertainment, conjunto music. He then later, enjoyed playing music for local churches. He was devoted to his wife and enjoyed spending time with the family on weekends.

Felix is survived by his wife Dora Vallejo; children, Esmeralda Vallejo, Laura Moore (Roger), and Felix Vallejo, Jr; sisters Josefa Sanchez and Francisca Sanchez, 6 grandchildren, Doralee Ann Wilson (Justin), Gilbert James Moore, Courtney Lorraine Moore, Joemanuel Carpio, Samantha Rose Vallejo, Sabrina Faith Vallejo; 3 great-grandchildren, Ayden Lee Wilson, Kaelyn Ann Wilson, Racquel Laura Alyse Moore and numerous other family and friends.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, October 22, 2020 at Corpus Christi Funeral Home. A Funeral Service will be held at 11:30 a.m. Interment will follow at Rosehill Memorial Park.
