Evelyn L. Thompson

Evelyn Thompson, 91, of Corpus Christi, Texas, formerly of Comfort, Texas joined our father in heaven, Tuesday, July 31, 2018.
Evelyn was born on December 27, 1926 in Comfort, Texas. She was a homemaker, living in Corpus Christi and worked alongside her husband in several businesses. She was a dedicated Christian mom who not only taught us about our Lord and Savior, but she led by example. Evelyn never lost faith in God and knew that HE would take care of her and her family. The heavens rejoiced upon her arrival and she is now with her heavenly family. She is preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Erna Durst of Mason, Texas, her late husband of 66 years, Othel “Tommy” Thompson of Corpus Christi, Texas and her granddaughter Amy Hogan of Corpus Christi, Texas.
Survivors include her three daughters Charlene Hogan (Steve) of Katy, Texas, Patricia Gallagher (Peter) of Corpus Christi, Texas, Jennifer Dunnahoo (Ron) of Corpus Christi, Texas, her son James Thompson (Teresa) of Ingleside, Texas; 8 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
A Graveside Service was held at Seaside Memorial Park.
