Esperanza Zamora, age 69, passed away on Monday, July 2, 2018 in Corpus Christi, Texas.
Esperanza was born on September 27, 1948 in Laredo, Texas to Jose Pedrosa and Andrea Ibarra. She loved fishing, shrimping, knitting, was a very good cook, gardening and always had an open door to everyone. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Alfonso Zamora, and son Jessie Zamora.
She is survived by 2 daughters, Marta Gutierrez, Rosie Rivera (Matias III); 9 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and a sister, Aurelia Quiroz.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 10, 2018 at Corpus Christi Funeral Home with a Rosary to be held at 7:00 p.m. that same evening.
A Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 11, 2018 at Corpus Christi Funeral Home.
Interment will follow at Rose Hill Memorial Park.
